The only other possibility is that Qscintila-1.7.3-glp-2.1 is actually qscintila2. It would be the most misleading naming I have ever seen but I am checking it out...

well it is...

sorry, but My crystal ball is not what it used to be....

Compiling from sources was my first thought, but I couldn't find them!.
I know it sound's silly and that I am too lazy to go find Qscintilla2, But the riverbank Qscintilla page does not have the sources for Qscintila2, only the old version
1.7:

http://www.riverbankcomputing.co.uk/qscintilla/download.php

and the Qscintilla2 development snapshot directory, listed in this page is empty:

http://www.riverbankcomputing.com/Downloads/Snapshots/QScintilla2/

and Yes, I googled for it, without any results:

Huh? Just compile it from sources. Did that here without a problem, its
also possible to install QScintilla2 files into a dir other than the Qt4
dir so you don't clutter your /usr.

> On a related note, If I want to update GUI code developed with Eric3 to Qt4,
