Hi,<br>
<br>
no, i do not have this directory structure either...Maybe because i
installed QScintilla from Synaptic Packag Manager. Anyway, i copied
these files from another windows pc of mine and i installed then in
Eric's Preferences.<br>
<br>
As i wanted to see how KDE looks like, (and i returned to GNOME now), i
think that after this, and being in GNOME again, the menu font of
Eric's Menu has changed. i mean, the font that the IDE uses for it's
main menu structure (File, Project etc etc)<br>
<br>
Is there a way to bring the previous setting for this again ?<br>

<pre wrap="">Hi,
All API files should go into the directory configured by QScintilla2. On my
openSUSE 10.3 box it is "/usr/share/qt4/qsci/api/...". Maybe Ubuntu adopted
this convention.

<pre wrap=""> Hi,
i am experimenting same problem in Ubuntu 8.04. The distro already
contained pyqt4, so I used synaptic package manager to install
eric-api-files but i still do not have the "/usr/share/eric/APIs/" location
on my hard disk.
Should i make something else to get them ?

Hi,
I finally was able to enable code completion for PyQt4 classes. They
were in another location, not parsed by Eric, they are all installed
in /usr/share/eric/APIs/ and they're provided by this package on
Ubuntu: eric-api-files
Anyway I've to notice a little bug: In Editor -> Autocompletion, it
doesn't make difference if I enable "Case Sensitive" or not, in both
cases I need to type code in the correct case to have it
auto-completed. Is this a known bug?
Thanks for your help!

I've removed all eric4 related packages from my Ubuntu. I've installed
them in this order:
1) qscintilla
2) pyqt4
3) eric4
but PyQt4 api is not available yet.... is this a packaging problem?
