(8.04)<br>I've tried to follow the steps, but it appears that qt 4.4 does not yet play along well with ubuntu 8.04. <br>After working on it for a while, but compiling qt from sources, and trying other things, I've managed to completely mess up my system, and had to re-install it. I'd surely appreciate a few pointers for setting up eric4 on ubuntu 8.04. <br>

then download eric4 and run it.<br>
