I&#39;ve been using eric4 for a while for python programming. Now I&#39;m getting into ruby, and have a question:<br><br>I see that the syntax highlighting JustWorks(tm) which is great. One of the great benefits of eric is the shell in the horizontal toolbox. I&#39;m able to explore the language by doing tests of code there. I&#39;d like to do the same with ruby (I assume with ri), but I don&#39;t see any setting in preferences to do that, and eric (apparently) doesn&#39;t do it automatically.<br>
