<div>After a lot of trouble I've managed to get eric5 running on Mac OS X 10.6.4 with python3. I had to create a 64-bit build of python 3.1.2 (which involved building readline as well) which I can make available for others if there is interest.</div>
<div> </div>
<div>It runs well however I have the following criticisms:</div>
<div> </div>
<div>- There is apparently no autohide button for the horizontal/vertical toolbars as on windows?</div>
<div>- External tools such as Qt Designer don't launch (probably a path issue, I haven't spent much time investigating)</div>
<div>- Installation litters /usr/[local]/bin with a bunch of eric5-* scripts. It would be nice to have a cleaner install. This would be nice with the windows version also.</div>
<div> </div>
<div>Thanks,</div>
