<p style=" margin-top:0px; margin-bottom:0px; margin-left:0px; margin-right:0px; -qt-block-indent:0; text-indent:0px; -qt-user-state:0;">I am not aware of an eric5 package for Debian. However, you may use the install script, that comes with the source package. If you like to uninstall it later on (what I don't hope you want to do), you may use the uminstall script. Going with the install script is the better way anyway because Debian tends to distribute fairly old versions of eric. If you detect an error in an old version the only answer you will get is "Please update to the latest release." I will not backport bug fixes to older releases!!</p>
