I'm new to pyqt, and i'm developing a small application. when i run it using root (i need to do it) it delivers this error message:<BR>

QMutex::lock: Deadlock detected in thread -1210615616<BR>

and the program hangs. <BR>

Any thoughts on what can be causing this?<BR>
