Hi Detlev,
I've just updated everything :
- Qt 4.2.0
- sip-snapshot-20061008
- PyQt-x11-gpl-4-snapshot-20061008
- qscintilla-1.71-gpl-2-snapshot-20061008
- eric4-snapshot-20061009

eric4 crashes on startup without any GUI.
