[Eric] Fold compact not working?

I notice that code-folding always folds up trailing blank lines, even
if I uncheck the Fold Compact option in Properties (part 1). Is there
something else I need to do to NOT fold up those extra blank lines?

Using Eric 4.0.4(r1711) and QScintilla 2.1 on Kubunty Gutsy.
