[Eric] No Local Variables in the Debugger

Hello,

I'm playing with eric3 (from Debian Sid) and trying to learn a bit of
python. 

When trying to debug a very simple script, the local variable tab is always
empty. I've tried to change the parameters in
settings->parameters->debugger->Python but it changes nothing.

Is there something I need to install to make the debugger works ?
