[Eric] Eric problem on Windows Vista

Hi,

i was using Eric4 last night with no problem on a Vista machine but now,
strangely,  i have a problem.
It starts, displays the splash screen and then nothing, it just stops there,
the splash screen goes away and nothing else happens.

I can see the process "pythonw" on task manager but the IDE is not shown.

I tried to reinstall by using latest snapshot but with  no luck.

Is there a way to *completeley* remove Eric from Vista so i can install it
again ??
