Hi all there.
Thanks to Andreas, I thought over again and just start to play with
Project/ProjectBaseBrowser.py, having in mind the problem is not in
InterView itself.
First at all I noticed there are too many calls to self._resizeColumns().
Then I commented out the calls, also commented the signal disconnection when
colapse/exapnd all and .... voila -
Eric4 project browser is fast enough. The only bad thing is the need to
resize columns by myself :(  I believe this can be fixed and I'm on my way.
So, I'm nearly ready to write a patch, soon.
