I am not expecting the guide renderer to guess where to put the line if I'm
using a variable width font. Which, by the way, now, I'm not.

The problem appears when I mark "use monospace as default" in settings /
preferences / style .

So if that means that I am using a monospaced font, yes I am.

I think the problem is that indenting lines don't take into account font
width, just a fixed amount of pixels for all fonts. So the lines get
"stretched" to the left when font (monospaced or not) gets larger (in
particular wider).
