[Eric] Erci3 - API-Files

Hello,

I'm currently using Eric3 on my Fedora box.

Auto-completion from api does not work since gen_sip_api.py and 
gen_python_api.py are no longer available on the website. The problem is 
that QScintilla1 does not seems to ship these api files :/

I will use Eric4 as soon as possible but QSintilla2 is not yet available 
on Fedora.

So, have I missed something or is gen_*_api files removal only relevant 
for Eric4 ?
Is there any reason I should not use them with my Eric3 version ?
