[Eric] Turning off the log viewer?

Hello,

I have a python script that spits out identical messages to both log-viewer
and the shell; eric ide automatically shifts its focus to log-viewer, and I
would like to have the focus on the shell only.  Is there a way to turn off
the log-viewer (or disable automatic focus shifting)?
