[Eric] Opening XML

Hello,

I am not able to reproduce your issue. If I double-click an XML file in the 
file browser it is opened in the editor. However, this depends on the mime 
types configured for your system (on Linux: /etc/mime.types). If the mime type 
is "text/...", the file is opened in the editor.
