Hello Tobias,
that looks like a good idea. However, before I apply the changeset I would
like to do a thorough code review to understand your changes and ask back
about parts I need more info. That will not happen for eric 5.3 line of
development, which I hope to finalize by years end (still two tasks to
implement).
Your changes could be the ones to start eric 5.4 development with. Further
communication will be done via direct email.
