<p class="MsoNormal">Thought I’d give Eric a try so have downloaded <i>eric6-6.0.10.zip</i> and
<i>PyQt4-4.11.4-gpl-Py2.7-Qt4.8.7-x64.exe.</i><o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Installed PyQt4 which worked without any reported problems.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Installing Eric failed with the following output,<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">D:\Apps\Python\2_7\Lib\site-packages\PyQt4<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">Clearly I’m using Python 2.7.10.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">PC is Windows 7 Professional<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">I’ve tried adding <i>D:\Apps\Python\2_7\Lib\site-packages\PyQt4</i> and
<i>D:\Apps\Python\2_7\Lib\site-packages</i> to PYTHONPATH but this made no difference.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Hope to try Eric soon as it looks good but will need some help to get the installation complete.<o:p></o:p></p>
