<p>I just noticed error messages in my "Sprechen Sie Deutsch?",
"Nein, NEIN!" problem...</p>
<p>Upon startup, the Console shows:</p>
<blockquote>

<p>and in the Eric GUI:</p>

</blockquote>
<p>Note the difference between "qt_de" and "git_de".</p>
<p>Does this help anyone with more knowledge of qt to know what's
wrong?</p>

FYI: I'm on Ubuntu 16.04 linux, 64 bit with eric6 18.05 recently
installed (from tarball).

I don't see any language setting in Preferences at all... so I've
tried to figure out how Qt might be affecting it, but I know
nothing of it, so no progress there.

I've completely removed my ".eric6" prefs directory, and my most
recent project directory as well. (Just renaming them out of the
way...) but no help.

The only way I've gotten it to startup in English again is by
logging in as a different user.

Any pointers greatly appreciated!
