[PyKDE] PyQt2.4 core dumps under sunos 5.7

Hi -

I built Python2.1/PyQt2.4/qt2.3 under SunOS 2.7 using gcc 2.95.3.
Everything went fine - no errors. Python works normally. All the qt
examples work.

When I try to run any of the PyQt2.4 examples, I get a core dump.
(gdb trace appended). The qt module loads without error. Any attempt
to invoke a qt widget method results in a core dump. Is there something
obvious I am missing ? Does sip make any assumption about byte
ordering ? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
