Well, I succeeded on Mandrake-8.2 and also 7.2 before I switched.
Attached you'll find a tar.bz2 with my spec files for qt3,
sip/PyQt-3.0pre5. The spec file for qt3 allows coexistence of
qt-2.3.1 and qt-3.0.0 on my Mandrake-8.2 system.
