I experienced the same. Rebuilding the source package revealed that
the libraries went in /
After moving libqscintilla* to /usr/lib I could install qtext but
eric 3.0.0-a2 crashes when I try to edit something:
 QPaintDevice: Must construct a QApplication before a QPaintDevice
