I've installed PyQT from the Debian Woody CD's.
When I tried to run the hello1.py from the pyQT book or any examplemenu,
python stops and complains:
bash-2.05a$ ./menu.py
Traceback (most recent call last):
File "./menu.py", line 14, in ?
from qt import *
File "/usr/lib/python2.1/site-packages/qt.py", line 3, in ?
# Generated by SIP v2.5 on Fri Aug 10 18:47:49 2001
ImportError: No module named pyqt
At first, it seemed the files for the pyQT where not installed, but i
verified their existence...
Problems with the debian packages? They are from the stable branch...
Any sugestion?? Or similar experience?
Thanking in advance your attention,
André Esteves
