[PyKDE] sip problems

when sip is compiled using recent versions of gcc, other programs cannot build 
against it



compiling PyQt fails with the following error:

Installing in dir: /usr/src/PyQt-x11-gpl-3.12
PyQt    3.12
Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "./build.py", line 44, in ?
    config = sipconfig.SIPConfig("PyQt 3.12")
AttributeError: 'module' object has no attribute 'SIPConfig'
 ! Problem Detected !


Other programs report the same error


I have the following software

gcc-3.4.1
python-2.3.4
sip-4.0.1
qt-3.3.2
pyqt    3.12
