But the issue I am having is that the Python is not trying to import the
files that are generated.

The -u flag on windows apearently needs to append _d to the pyd
filenames (libqt_d.pyd instead of libqt.pyd)

Manuallt renaming *seems* to work. I'm just finding this out so, no one
take it as gospel.
