I have rebuilt all of Qt and PyQt on my Mac, and that has solved some of
the problems with Eric 3.5 crashing when I save files--but not
completely. There are still a lot of random crashes. Eric 3.5 seems, in
general, to be a bit flaky, at least in my setup.

I gave Eric 3.4.2 a try as well, and it seems much more stable--I have
not experienced any crashes that I can remember. Does anyone else have a
similar experience? What in 3.5 would make it more crash-prone than 3.4.2?

At any rate, when I put together my PyQt distribution for OS X, I'm
going to be more likely to include Eric 3.4.2, just because it seems a
*lot* more stable.
