It's fixed in PyKDE 3.11.2, which should be what's up at 
riverbankcomputing.co.uk.  I don't know if anyone has packaged that version, 
but if not, they should probably wait a week or two, as there are fixes 
needed for KConfigSkeleton that I also need to implement.
