Thank you for your patch Detlev, it works fine.

Now, I'm just starting with the eric-doc tool and I have two
remarks:

- My source code is utf8 encoded, and the generated html
doesn't seem to take care of it. I need to convert the HTML
from 'utf8' to 'latin1' with 'iconv' in order to display
correctly special characters.

- When docstrings are written other multiple lines, the
newlines characters are suppressed from the HTML result; all
the string is written over one line. I've tried to add "\n"
on each endline of the docstring, but it simply writes a
"\n" in the HTML.

Excepting those points, I really appreciate the tool.
