[PyKDE] eric3 compileing from a ui to .py , generating large image data and .py file giving segfaults

It's not eric doing this, it's pyuic, which is part of PyQt. However, what you 
observe is the normal behavior  and happens with Qt's uic as well.

If you are using KDE widgets in your UI you have to use the interface compiler 
provided by PyKDE (I think it's kdepyuic). This is currently not supported by 
eric3.
