[PyKDE] Sip bindings for HDF5?

We're interesting in using the HDF5
(Hierarchical Data Format 5) libraries
with our C++/Python/PyQt based applications.

There are some hand-coded Python bindings,
by the Swedish Meteorological and Hydrological Institute
but these havn't been maintained since around 2002:

Has anyone come across sip-based bindings for
HDF5 (commercial or open source)?
