Hi, I am having a problem with eric3.
All is well except when I try to pop open the preferences window I get this:
Traceback (most recent call last):
File "/usr/home/peter/eric-3.7.2-rc1/eric/UI/UserInterface.py", line 2689, in handlePreferences
File "/usr/home/peter/eric-3.7.2-rc1/eric/Preferences/ConfigurationDialog.py", line 230, in __init__
File "/usr/home/peter/eric-3.7.2-rc1/eric/Preferences/ConfigurationDialog.py", line 629, in initVariousPages
RuntimeError: cannot pass None as argument 0 in this call
I'm running eric 3.7.2-rc1 (have tried 3.7.1 from ports as well, same thing happens)
on a FreeBSD 5.4-STABLE machine with these packages installed:
py24-qt-3.14.1_3,
py24-sip-4.2.1_3,
py24-tkinter-2.4.1_1
All latest from ports collection.
Before I upgraded eric to 3.7.2-rc1 (from 3.7.1) I couldn't save any files either, got that same traceback.
Any suggestions appreciated.
Greetings,
Peter
