[PyKDE] Not able to install Eric3

Hi.

I im trying to install Eric3 but have trouble with it. I have installed 
all the nessesary parts (i think) and now when i try to install Eric3 
itself i get:

bash: ./install.py: Access denied.

I am running as root. Why could it be that i get this as root ? am i 
missing something here ? Would be nice if someone could help me with 
this because i wanna lern to develop in python and eric.
