Right - at the moment it's only required for konsolepart support, and that 
will be a non-default option in the future, since it's not supported 
uniformly by distributions. There are some other places the problem comes up 
in doing things like panel applets or similar extensions, but I don't see 
those being part of PyKDE itself anyway, so they're automatically optional.
