I was planning to pick up the discussion again once I have a chance to
investigate more directly some of the binary compatibility issues and
versioning issues. I've been very busy with a Kubuntu stuff lately. But that
should be settling down soon and then I can look at KDE4 + Python stuff like
this.
Your process sounds pretty good/workable. All the news about KDE4 and akademy
this week is getting me pretty excited about moving onto KDE4
development. ;-D
