[PyQt] Quick question: PyQT version checking

Hi,

To have the application check that the PyQt version is at least the same 
as I used (since I don't have any older versions available to test 
against) can I simply use:

    if QtCore.PYQT_VERSION < 262401:
       # advice and exit

??
