Hi Arve,
I've run into that problem myself when I prepared new snapshot builds. I'm not
inclined to find out what exactly is wrong with Qt4's build in Debian/Ubuntu
right now, so I have patched configure.py.
Please get the source packages from here:
deb-src http://diotavelli.net/files/deb/ sourc/
You can use them to build the latest sip4 and PyQt4 snapshot yourself.
