[PyQt] QDirModel populating QTreeView in Windows Slow Response

I populate QTreeView with QDirModel ... While EXECUTING. It takes much time
to generate the TREE Structure... Is it true! QDirModel -> QTreeView takes
much time? Say 5-6 Sec~!
I m  using XP in Intel Penti Dual CPU, 2ghz, 2gb RAM!
