[PyQt] Promote Widget and QDockWidget

I've created a small main ui.
when you click on the menu it opens a widget. I used the promote widget
function in the editor.
Everything worked fine.

If I try to do the same promoting a QDock, with a QDock Widget I' obtain a
very odd behaviour.
There's the file attached.

Using Win Vista and Qt 4.4.1

I tried all combo. Putting as a placeholder a widget and promoting to a
QDock (and putting a QDock in the designer) , then a QDock as placeholder
and then a widget in the promoted (even if it doesn't make sense) 

Any hint apprecciated
