The current PyQt5 snapshot now has a stable API - what is currently implemented is what will be in v5.0. You will need a current SIP snapshot - which means you will have to re-build PyQt4. The remaining work is to resolve any outstanding platform build issues and to do some documentation. I hope to make a release in the next two weeks. Phil
