i'll try putting one together on monday when i get back to my office.
however Timothy Grove's reply to my second message on this topic
(message titled: pyqt5.1 baffling exceptions: AttributeError: 'Qxxxxxx'
object has no attribute 'QWidget')
on this list seems to confirm my own experience and feeling that there
is some weird problem happening behing the scenes here which is a
difference between pyqt4 and pyqt5.
