[PyQt] TextField

I start to learn this language today , i've create one simple map where there are two button and one label and then i've inserted all component in SetLayout but i've one problem only with QEditText because when i insert this component in SetLayout this component transform in other component more large then i want , i don't know why. 
I have a lot of problem to understand this application because i've not any documentation about PyQt5 library.
I'm very grateful if anyone can help me.
