[PyQt] high-res pixmap in qgraphicsproxywidget when zooming

I'm looking for a way of setting up view/pixmap/proxywidget in pyqt5 so
that zooming in does not lead to such poor quality image as demonstrated in
this post

Any help would be most appreciated.
