Plenty of reasons, in fact.

 * As pointed out already, those smell like Qt(!) issues
 * more Qt experience is found on stackoverflow
 * the sets of both audiences combined is bigger

Thanks to PyQt's adherence to Qt standards and Phil's reluctance to paper over 
any Qt shortcomings, we're able to locate Qt issues even easier with PyQt than 
with C++ itself. ;-)

But for the same reasons, Phil isn't able to do anything for such cases, other 
than what he did already: he tested the scripts. :wink:
