[PyQt] QML examples not working

Some of the examples do not work

For example the window contains what was being displayed where it opened.

quick/scenegraph/customgeometry/customgeometry.py


The following fail with

QQmlComponent: Component is not ready
Error: <Unknown File>:5:11: Cannot assign object to property
