[PyQt] Unicode errors with PyQt5?

Hi,

We have the same issue here. This is blocker because it means non-latin
people can't get their application working if their Windows session username
contains non-latin characters (or if the application/script is ran from a
folder containing non-latin chars).
We have a desktop solution we are trying to distribute to Japan, but for now
it is not possible.

Do you have a clue or something useful to move forward/help debugging?
