> That's failing on build, not configure, and suggests a problem with your Qt installation.

You are quite right; my mistake! Either way, it can't find QDataStream.
Just spent half a day building and installing Qt. (Now I remember why I
don't like building from source...) I'm really just trying to change the
backend for mediaplayer to 'Windows Media Framework (wmf'); is there a
shortcut to this apart from configuring and building all of QT???
