--no-build option for sip?

I thought I’d seen some option for sip-build that would skip the compilation step. There are several levels of the stack now with sip 5, and I am having trouble finding it in the docs or code. Did I imagine this or not?

Skipping the compilation option is helpful when you only want to generate sources but not compile, e.g. when you have sources for in-app proprietary sip extensions included in a pyqtdeploy build.
