Thanks very much. I need to relearn the use of 'self' as it's been a while
since I wrote anything but CLI tools. And I see GUI code organized in
different sequences that what I used years ago and I don't know how the
sequence makes a difference. Your example helps me better understand both
issues.

I'll re-write all 8 tab page modules as you suggest. There will probably be
more questions that arise and I greatly appreciate the help I'm getting.
