Adding dependant packages via PyQtDeploy

Hi,
In previous versions of PyQtDeploy, it used to be very neat and easy to tick a checkbox next to a package that I wanted to ship with my pyqtdeploy’ed app.  
That was great.
But now it looks like I have to figure out how to write a ‘component plugin’ for pyqtdeploy-sysroot???
Is this the new way to include packages for deployment?
