PyQt-builder for mixed C++ and Python modules

Hi -

I'm investigating switching to PyQt-builder for my project. Currently it 
uses a hacked-about distutils extension which is broken with new sip 
versions.

My question is can PyQt-build build projects which include pure-python 
code? My project uses a PyQt extension module which currently is in a 
submodule of the project.

If so, can someone point me at an example to look at?
